MTS, the leading digital ecosystem, and mobile operator has deployed a dedicated Private LTE network based on PROTEI EPC packet core for a mining company. Nowadays the network consists of 14 macro sites with high-speed radio coverage, Evolved Packet Core solution, developed by PROTEI, and Push-To-Talk manufacturing communication system. It provides communication and telemetry services to 800 subscribers and 500 units of mining equipment.
PROTEI EPC core consists of MME, SGW, PD GW/GGSN, HLR/HSS, and PCRF components, or any combination of these, providing a fully functional solution. Each element may be deployed separately or as a part of the turn-key bundle. The solution may be enriched by a Connectivity Management platform and components for voice communications. It supports 3GPP-releases and fully ready for 5G NSA option3 service delivery as well as for Nb-IOT projects.
